Message from the President

As the most well established non-governmental organization in the field of education in Turkey with its 82-year background, the Turkish Education Association strives to publicize its activities and to suggest solutions to educational problems by attracting the attention of related authorities. The primary problem we encounter while informing people about what we do is the fact that the Turkish Education Association is perceived merely as an organization embracing TED  schools, whereas its function carried out as a non-governmental organization is not fully recognized. There is no doubt that we take pride in our schools as they form the basis of our existence. However, we must bear in mind that what makes us the leading non-governmental organization in the field of education is the wide range of successes we’ve accomplished since TED was founded. Our mission is to ensure that this unique difference is recognized by all related authorities and to do our best to carry the torch enlightening the future of our children.
