CEMC ( Centre of Education in Maths and Computer Science) International Gauss Maths Contest that is organized by Waterloo University- a well-known one in Canada, taken by nearly 150.00 students every year and measures the proficiency at English and Maths was given to the students of both our school and Ataturk Middle School on 12 May at our school.
The students were determined with a great work of cooperation of both schools and given useful information about the contest.
The contest contains 3 parts including 25 questions that are arranged according to difficulty.
The contest lasts 60 minutes and the language of the contest is English.
After the contest, the students of both schools had fun by playing platform games and attending sports activities.
The students were able to get their certificates sent by Waterloo University according to their successes at this international contest.
These certificates are acceptable at all the schools all over the world and opens new opportunities to the students of TED Malatya College.
The students who got the highest points deserved to get the certificate of 'OUTSTANDING ACHIVEMENT'
The students who were in the 25 percent success of the contest deserved to get the 'CERTIFICATE OF DISTRICTION'
And also all the students who took the contest deserved to get the 'CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION'
The successful students of Ataturk Middle School got their certificates at their own school.
