İstanbul Field Trip...

"Teacher! Istanbul! Çok güzel!" It was Monday December 3. I was on duty in the corridors. A student had walked up to me. His dark brown eyes were shining with excitement. He was still happy from the experience of going to Istanbul. He was not the only one. Even two days after the Saturday trip, the students were still happy. I felt the same way because I had a really good time. I went with students that I teach in grades 5 to 8. I enjoyed the trip. The NASA exhibit was interesting. Istanbul's aquarium was beautiful. The best part was the opportunity to grow in relationships. I got to know better the students and the teachers. I also got to meet some of the parents who took their children to the airport.
