ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE CONTEST
THE AIM OF THE CONTEST:
The main aim of this contest is to help our kids show an interest in English and establish the feeling of team spirit.
GENERAL RULES:
- The contest will be among the 8th graders.
- Each section (8/A and 8/B) will be divided into 6 groups consisting of 6 students.
- The members of the groups will be determined by the English teachers and announced before the contest.
- The questions will be asked according to the 8th graders’ level.
- Three will be 25 questions which bring 4 points to the groups in each stage.
- The contest includes 2 stages.
ü Preliminary Date: 1 Dec, 2011 Thursday- 13.30
ü Final Date: 15 Dec, 2011 Thursday- 13.30
- In Preliminary Stage 3 groups in each section (in total 6 groups) will compete. And at the end of the stage, 3 groups will come up as the first, second and third.
- In Final Stage 3 groups will compete to be the winner of the English Knowledge Contest which will be watched by the upper primary pupils.
Each member of the first group will be awarded with a prize.
